At the beginning of last year, we joined the writing team of a paper on alternative computing concepts lead by the German IT industry association “bitkom”. We participated with our knowledge and technological insights to fruitful discussions and contributed detailed content to the sections on quantum computing and neuromorphic computing. The resulting paper “Future Computing” delivers a condensed overview of alternative computing approaches including also optical computing, digital annealing, DNA computing and more.
